Lawyer: The British government has a bill to permanently ban asylum claims

Lawyer Naim Hasani has said that the British government is considering a draft law which will permanently stop any request for asylum.

In a direct link to Euronews Albania, Hasani said that it is expected that the draft law will be approved and if it happens, the laws will be stricter.

"The difference in the situation is that the government has a draft law in parliament, which will permanently stop any request for asylum from any nationality, including Albanians.

The proposed bill, which is currently in the House of Lords, will go to the House of Commons and if passed will undoubtedly be one of the strictest laws in the history of immigration in Britain and no asylum claim from any nationality will be considered. including Albanian citizens.

This has met with strong opposition from human rights organizations and the Council of Europe, as the draft law is in complete contradiction to the human rights convention. However, this draft law is expected to be approved and become law in Britain" , said the lawyer.
