Hide drugs in socks, 3 years in prison for the Albanian in England

An Albanian in England has been sentenced to three years in prison after the police caught him hiding a quantity of drugs in his socks.

During a search in the area, police approached Elis Kola, who was in his car, parked on Herbert Street in Cambridge, on March 9 last year (2023), after suspecting him to be involved in drug trafficking.

Kola, 39, admitted having the drugs and officers found 22 wrapped bags of cocaine worth more than £1,100 hidden in a sock by the door.

At Peterborough Crown Court on Wednesday (May 22), Kola was jailed for three years after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine.
