The court has left the RENEA officer, Altin Morina, who was caught a few days ago with 113,000 euros in his car, in prison, assigning the security measure "Arrest with prison".
In his defense, Morina says he received this money from a businessman 20 minutes before his arrest.
"They do not come from any criminal activity. I am ready to cooperate to find out the origin of the lek. I was not with anyone else in the car. I was going home, which I have at the former Block" , he said.
The head of the training sector in the RENEA special forces department was arrested by his colleagues in Tirana with around 120 thousand euros in a luxury vehicle a few days ago.
Altin Morina is being investigated for money laundering, concealment of income and abuse of office as the amount of money he had with him is suspected to be not justified by legal sources.
