The Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction has accepted the request of DP deputy Ervin Salianji for the exclusion from the 'Babale' case of judge Edlira Petri.

" At the end of the review, in the Judicial Advisory Chamber, Elona Mihali decided:

-Acceptance of the request of the applicant Mr. Ervin Salianji,

 The exclusion of judge Edlira Petri from consideration of the criminal case with no. 3473 reg dated 19.02.2020. - The declaration of inadmissibility of the request of the applicant Mr. Jetmir Olldashi with the object of exclusion by the judicial body, as a request that remained without object after the decision no. of judge Edlira Petri from criminal case no. 3473 dated 19.02.2020 ", says the notice of the Court of Appeal in Tirana.

Salianji asked for the dismissal of judge Edlira Petri, because according to him " there is incompatibility because it was expressed in relation to the dismissal of judge Artan Gjermeni in the first instance, and then we directed this appeal to the Supreme Court, where the case was examined by judge Sokol Sadhu. The latter is the husband of Edlira Petri, who is judging the case on appeal".
