A dramatic showdown in the mixed martial arts (MMA) arena at "MBW Park", Munich, Germany, was accompanied by a serious incident where Albanian athlete Arijan Topallaj lost consciousness during his match with Irishman Denis Frimpong.
Frimpong dominated the challenge and managed to close it with a technical knockout in the third round, at the 44th second. According to official statistics, Topallaj took about 100 blows, while delivering only 53, surrendering due to fatigue and constant pressure.
Topallaj was taken out of the cage on a stretcher and immediately taken to the hospital. His condition has stabilized and he is out of danger.
