The second floor of an apartment in Shkodra was engulfed in flames, causing significant material damage.

The incident occurred today (June 10), at around 2:50 PM, in the village of Golem.

"It is suspected that due to an electrical spark, a fire broke out in the apartment of citizen NR. As a result, the second floor of the apartment burned down," police sources said.

Report TV journalist Ergys Kavaja reports that the police and fire services immediately went to the scene and extinguished the flames.

 The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident and pyrotechnic expertise is awaited to definitively reveal the cause of the fire.
