Albania's draw with Latvia has caused a wave of reactions on social media, where Albanian fans have not spared criticism of coach Silvinjo and the president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka.
The comments were filled with anger, frustration, and harsh language.
One user writes: "The monkey remains a monkey... Silvinho didn't take us to the European Championship, but Yasir Asani's goals did."
While another explodes: "Non-existent shield, why didn't you remove the first part, you fucking coach."
Many others blamed the federation leaders.
"Armand Duka must be held accountable. Silvinjo, with what happened today, you gave Serbia second place, bravo!" writes one commentator, while another says: "As long as we have a corrupt president who sells out all the matches, don't expect anything."
Among the comments, there is also a warning to boycott the matches and a complete lack of trust in the team: "Boycott the matches, don't have any fans on the field, let the Duke decide the result himself."
