A 19-year-old man previously wanted by the Criminal Investigation Department has been arrested.
In May of this year, two Kalashnikovs were found in the young man's vehicle during a police search.
"As a result of continuous checks to locate and apprehend wanted citizens, based on information provided by police intelligence, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat have located, apprehended and detained the citizen:
A. Gj., 19 years old, resident of the village of Kir.
This citizen was declared wanted, after on 30.05.2025, in accordance with the decision of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, the Police services conducted a search of a vehicle in a neighborhood of the village of Kir, where they found and seized 2 Kalashnikov firearms which were suspected to be possessed by citizen A. Gj" , the police announced.
