The case repeats itself, a Russian missile falls in Moldova

A Russian missile that was shot down by Ukraine's air defenses landed in a village in northern Moldova, according to government reports. The country's Interior Ministry said the missile landed in Naslavcea, near the border with Ukraine.

"So far, there are no victims reported, but only some small damages in some apartments", the ministry added.

But citizens are panicking that Russia's war could expand beyond Ukraine.

Three weeks ago, Moldova said Russian missiles aimed at Ukraine had crossed its airspace and summoned Moscow's envoy to demand an explanation.

Earlier in the incident with two victims was noted in Poland, where a rocket fell in a village on the border with Ukraine.

Like Ukraine, Moldova is not part of the EU or NATO military alliance.
