The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, confirmed that at the Summit of Foreign Ministers of the member countries, one of the main topics of discussion will be the security situation in Kosovo and in the entire Western Balkans.

In a press conference from Brussels, Stoltenberg said that "we have seen serious violence in the north of Kosovo, divisive and separatist rhetoric in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and malignant attempts at intervention, including those from Russia."

Meanwhile, he spoke about a greater NATO presence in Kosovo.

"Together with the High Representative of the EU (Josep Borrell) we will discuss ways to increase stability in the region. NATO has already added 1000 (one thousand) troops to Kosovo. And we are examining a more stable presence in Kosovo", added the head of NATO.
