The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, voted today together with his wife at the premises of the 9-year school "Kongresi i Lushnjes" in Tirana.

After the vote, President Begaj responded to media interest, emphasizing the importance of this process for citizens and for Albanian democracy, underlining that today's elections are taking place at a special moment for the country.

"The process is calm. Electoral processes are important for citizens and democracy. We have opened negotiations for membership in the European Union.
