Rama's statement against Trump, Linda Rama speaks: I am not Edit's

Prime Minister Edi Rama's wife, Linda Rama, was asked while she was a guest on the show 'Opinion' if she had given him any advice after the statement he made 8 years ago about Donald Trump in the presidential race at that time.

Linda Rama stated that she is not employed by the Prime Minister for advice and this is something that is done institutionally.

Excerpt from the interview: 

Blendi Fevziu: You don't want to say that you don't have any kind of emotion in this case, so you follow the race as a race, but do you remember that 8 years ago, for example, your husband made a statement against Trump at the time he was running against Hillary Clinton?

Linda Rama: And what is the question here?

Blendi Fevziu: What advice did you give him after you heard that he didn't do it without asking you?

Linda Rama: I'm not going to give it to Edit... I'm not Edit's employee. Counseling is an institutional moment.


Blendi Fevziu: Did you talk about this privately, or did you not open it up as a conversation at all then?

Linda Rama: I think that even then I personally saw the issue of elections in the United States of America in exactly the same way.
