Today, Albania celebrates 111 years of independence, since on November 28, 1912, Ismail Qemali raised the flag in Vlora, declaring Albania a sovereign state.

On this marked day for Albanians, the flag raising ceremony was held, where Prime Minister Edi Rama, President Bajram, Begaj, Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla, head of Vlora Municipality, Ermal Dredha, etc. were present.

Part of the ceremony is the raising of the Flag and the placing of flower wreaths on the monument of Ismail Qemali.

Likewise, the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, was also present in Vlora. He placed wreaths of flowers at the grave of Ismail Qemali, at Flag Square in Vlora.

Many citizens were also present at the ceremony, who defied the atmospheric conditions and the rain.

What stood out was a moment when Prime Minister Rama shakes hands with Albin Kurti, and they are seen smiling during the ceremony.
