The car with foreign license plates that followed Brilant Martinaj's last

New details emerge from the investigation into the murder of Brilant Martinaj, the cousin of Ervis Martinaj.

There are strong suspicions that the car with Slovenian license plates that observed the last movements of Brilant Martinaj and his two friends, after the murder, was sent to be disassembled for spare parts at a service station in Kosovo. The Slovenian authorities have officially notified the Albanian prosecutor's office by letter of the information they have about the vehicle. Foreign investigators have already directed the Albanian investigation group to focus on Kosovo in search of traces and evidence of the mafia assassination.

After receiving the response to the first letter, the prosecutor's office of Tirana has launched a second letter to the Slovenian judiciary, to request more data on the vehicle. Sources also confirm that the prosecution has started correspondence with the Kosovar authorities. Our investigators also request information from Kosovo regarding the car service, where the dismantling of the said vehicle would take place.

Prosecutors want to find out who is the person who took the car to the service. Also who sent the vehicle to dismantle it. If this information is provided, then the prosecutors may have a new track that may lead to the discovery of the perpetrators of the serious crime.

Martinaj, Diklen Vata and Besmir Hoxha, were executed on July 17, 2022 at the Fush-Kruja bridge, in a well-organized assassination attempt.
