The former resident of BBV, Dritan Brahimi, was processed in a free state by the police of Shkodra.

Brahimi kept a buzzard (Buteo buteo) in his apartment, in unsuitable conditions.

"Shkodër Police Station, immediately after receiving the notification from the Association for the Conservation and Protection of the Natural Environment in Albania (PPNEA), about a rare bird protected by law, which was kept by a citizen, based on several videos published in social networks, have carried out investigative actions on the case.

Following the procedural actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the citizen Dritan Brahimi, 37 years old, resident of Shkodër, for the criminal offense "Damage to protected species of wild flora and fauna".

During the check in this citizen's apartment, the bird was found, which is currently being treated by the veterinary management specialists of the municipality of Shkodër.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction.
