They were selling dogs in Dhërmi, 2 Englishmen arrested

Two Englishmen have been arrested by the police, who are accused of selling hard drugs in the coastal areas of the region. According to the police announcement, 103 doses of MDMA and Ketamine, as well as 120 Ecstasy pills, prepared for sale, have been seized.

'As a result of this operation, foreign citizens, born and residing in London, JB, 34 years old, and JC, 33 years old, who were staying in the village of Dhërmi, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

The anti-drug police operation codenamed "Cocktail" is being finalized by the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Vlora Police Department, following the crackdown on the criminal activity of selling hard drugs in the coastal areas of the district.

103 doses of MDMA and Ketamine, as well as 120 Ecstasy pills, prepared for sale, were seized.

Two English citizens were arrested after hard drugs were found in the room they were staying in Dhërmi, as well as in their vehicle, along with a sum of 6,185 euros and 720 pounds, suspected of having been the proceeds of this criminal activity.

Following the controls to crack down on the criminal activity of selling hard drugs, thanks to the immediate administration of information by police intelligence and in implementation of the plan of measures to guarantee order and security in tourist areas, the services of the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Vlora Police Department, in cooperation with the Operational Investigation Support Section, organized and finalized the anti-drug operation codenamed "Cocktail".

As a result of this operation, foreign citizens, born and residing in London, JB, 34 years old, and JC, 33 years old, who were staying in the village of Dhërmi, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

During the search of their room and the "Mitsubishi" vehicle in their use, the Police seized as material evidence: 52 doses of MDMA narcotics, 51 doses of Ketamine narcotics, 120 Ecstasy pills, an amount of 6,185 euros and 720 pounds, as well as 4 mobile phones.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens were selling doses of narcotics in entertainment venues along the coastline, frequented by vacationers and foreign tourists.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further procedural actions.
