What is it like to be the wife and prime minister of Albania? Linda Rama: I was described as a 'nose-inserting' model in a man's power

What is it like to be the wife and prime minister of Albania? Linda Rama: I was

The wife of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Linda Rama, although withdrawn from public life, has spoken about her personal and professional life.

In an interview on the show "Ilva Now" on Euroneës Albania, she showed what it is like to be the wife of the Prime Minister in Albania.

Linda Rama shows that women in her position live in conditions of a dishonest judgment.

Linda Rama: Not only in Albania ... I wanted to single out my public appearance with Edin, it was the starting point to understand what it was like to be the prime minister's wife.

In 2010 there were some journalists about what Linda would be next to politician Edith and then as prime minister. He was then mayor and head of the opposition.

I remember that moment when the moderator underlined two models of female wives, the lady of the president or the prime minister.

She was the uninspiring model of the woman who pokes her nose into the power of the man, here I felt great regret, as a ruthless definition.

On the other hand the profile of a discreet woman. It was my first outing and I was careful not to go too deep. I said to myself only two models after all? I did not understand this discreet word, did they mean concealment?

When Edi became prime minister, I wanted to understand what that kind of determination was, while I was clear that the prime minister's wife was living in a state of dishonesty. to wear things you do not have. Secondly, they have a request to perform and are in the hands of the state and I did not know how to handle them.

Wife status is related to privilege. As of Day 1 of Edit I turned down the service team in the Prime Minister's family.

That we lived in our own home. The service team to move to the prime minister because he works long hours, he needs work lunches and dinners.

I suggested to Edit for an environment within the prime minister to maintain the dignity of the institution.

I refused to give up the wheel. He starts the day by sending Zaho to school, me at the wheel, he back. I give Zahos a model to remember me as the first companion in her infancy.

I do not have a security guard, I decided never to accompany him abroad if it were not for protocol reasons or the agenda he has.

There have been cases where I have accompanied Ed without an agenda but I paid for them myself, without access to public finances.

Ilva Tare: Is it a little more sec needed?

Linda Rama : This remains to be discussed, it is opening some lights that may start a different opinion. The next thing I have done is that I have stayed at a complete distance from Edith power and there I am accompanying my husband within the country.
