"How does the corrupt regime of Edi Rama in Albania threaten his future?"

This was the title of the next episode of the show "The Expose", by the journalist of Kosovo, Vudi Xhymshiti.

The journalist starts the show by describing the figure of Rama, how the Albanian prime minister appears as an excellent diplomat and leader of the region, when in fact, behind the facade he presents to the international community, a dark reality is hidden.

Xhymshiti breaks down the connections with crime, corruption, environmental degradation and the autocratic rules under which Rama has placed Albania.

"Under Rama's regime, Albania has turned into a haven for organized crime, with deep ties to drug trafficking and money laundering."

The journalist emphasizes that the reality that is being seen in Albania is a "symbiosis between organized crime and political power". So, under the rule of Rama, Albania has turned into a mafia state, where crime, drugs and corruption find room to extend the tentacles closely related to power.

Another concern that the journalist raises is the support given to Rama by the international community. According to Xymshiti, what makes this situation even more shocking is the silence, or worse, the cooperation of the internationals.

Despite abundant evidence of Rama's ties to organized crime, global powers such as the United States, the European Union and major Western governments continue to support his regime. This raises deep questions about the integrity of Western foreign policy and the motives behind their unwavering support for a government that has become synonymous with criminality, as quoted by journalist Xhymshiti.
