Britney Spears has revealed a dark secret about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. The pop star has revealed that she had an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake. She confesses that her pregnancy was a "surprise", but not a "tragedy".

"I loved Justin very much. I always hoped that one day we would start a family together. It's just that it was going to happen much sooner than I expected," Spears wrote in an excerpt published by "People."

But Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. "He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young," Spears continues.

"I'm sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don't know if it was the right decision. If it was up to me, I would never have done it. And yet, Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father," said the singer.
