More than eight months after their split, the Saturday Night Live star and Kim crossed paths at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dressed in Fendi, Pete was pictured chatting with Kim - who looked stunning in a beaded Schiaparelli dress. The Met Gala is a special place for the former couple. After all, it is where the two first met in May 2021.

" He had been asking for my number a little bit," Kim recalled on an episode of the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast last year. "I saw him at the Met and he knew I was going to be on SNL. He came up to me and we were talking about SNL."

While Kim had trouble giving Pete her number at the time because of the gloves on her Balenciaga dress, the pair reunited in October 2021 when she appeared on the NBC comedy show. During the broadcast, the pair shared a kiss in a skit – something Kim said sparked "a little buzz" in her mind – and they started dating soon after. Last May, Kim attended the Met Gala 2022 with Pete. The glamorous night was documented in an episode of The Kardashians, during which the couple talked about their first date.

However, their romance fizzled out in August and the two split after nine months of dating. Although Kim and Pete had "a lot of love and respect for each other," according to sources, professional commitments led to their split. Pete is currently dating Chase Sui Wonders. What about Kim? Well she's "not ready" to date yet.

"I'm not looking for anything," she shared during a September appearance on 'Live with Kelly and Ryan.' "I think I just need to be alone and focus on finishing law school and my kids."
