"Shkodra Elektronike" reacts after the Eurovision final: We wanted to

After an unforgettable performance in the Eurovision 2025 final, which took place on May 17, Albania's representatives, "Shkodra Elektronike", have reacted for the first time on social media.

In a post published on the official Instagram page, Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Lacaj, the duo behind this musical project, shared a photo from the performance in the final, accompanied by an emotional caption:

"We wanted to win your hearts. It seems we succeeded. Or not?" - a phrase written in three languages: Albanian, English and Italian.

Their reaction immediately sparked emotions and appreciation from the public. The comments on the post prove that "Zjerm", the song with which they represented Albania, has captured the hearts of many music fans at home and abroad.

“Shkodra Elektronike” performed last on the final night, closing the show with a fiery energy. The song was preserved in its original Albanian version, bringing a unique combination of Albanian folklore with modern electronic currents to the international stage.

At the end of the voting, Albania collected 218 points, with 173 coming from the public's televoting and only 45 from the professional juries, ranking 8th among the 26 finalists.

To be singled out was France, the only one to give Albania a full 12 points from the jury, a symbolic support for one of the most talked-about performances of the evening.

Although Albania did not win the trophy, “Electronic Shkodra” put the country in the spotlight of Europe. Numerous polls and international media outlets such as CNN ranked Albania among the countries with the most impressive performance at Eurovision 2025.
