DP leader Sali Berisha was asked if he would join Prime Minister Edi Rama in making changes to the Justice Reform, following the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj. 


Invited to the Opinion show on TV Klan, DP leader Sali Berisha categorically ruled out any collaboration with Edi Rama on this issue.

Berisha stated that he will seek the opinion of the Venice Commission and a popular referendum on the Justice Reform.

"At best, this is categorically excluded for me to cooperate with Edi Rama, absolutely for the Justice Reform. I will cooperate with the Albanian citizens, I will take the Venice Commission and it will be the referendum that will provide the answer. The main supporter of this reform on earth, today he is non grata in his country (referring to Antony Blinken). He came from Washington and met Altin Dumani, he did not meet anyone from the opposition because he was for Albania without opposition. He thanked him for the arrest of Sali Berisha.

"He met with him. The meeting was held to thank him and was mediated by Yuri Kim. This was a man without a shred of dignity.
