The woman raped the dog in the elevator, under investigation in Tirana

A 51-year-old woman has been criminally prosecuted by the Tirana police after being accused of animal cruelty.

It was filmed and the footage made the rounds of the network as the woman GK was shown mistreating several animals in an elevator.

Police notification

In relation to a video posted on social networks, in which a citizen appears mistreating several animals, in an elevator, we clarify that:

Services of Police Station No. 3, immediately after the release of the footage, organized the work to identify and bring forward the legal responsibility of the citizen who appears in the video.

Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Station No. 3 have identified and prosecuted the citizen GK, 51 years old, resident in Tirana.

The procedural materials for this case were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions, for the criminal offense of "Animal abuse".

In cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana, the mistreated animals were placed in the care of an association for the protection of animals.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate thanks the media and citizens who report cases of illegality and invites them again to report any case of illegality to the Digital Police Station and to the number 112, guaranteeing complete anonymity and an immediate and impartial response.
