Fredi Beler's son, Petros, spoke about the elected mayor of Himara and the pending trial, stressing among other things that his father "will be declared innocent".

For the Greek media , Petros Beleri emphasized that for his father's case, the trial has been postponed and the hearing is expected to take place in the Court of Appeal, at a time when Rama's party, he said, is governing as he wishes in Himara.

He said that Beleri will be released from prison even though there is no hope in Albania.
