Monkey line, IPH: No cases have been identified in Albania, we suspect acute

After the Covid-19 pandemic, another contagious disease that has recently erupted is monkey pox.

The Deputy Director of the IPH, Dritan Ulqinaku, in an interview for Klan News has shown that in Albania no suspicious cases have been identified with the disease in question, as he showed the symptoms of the disease.

"Officially no, we have not yet identified any suspected cases of the disease known as monkey pox. If there is any hidden form that in the coming days will pull the head out, we will be in touch.

"As a characteristic, there is swelling of the lymph glands, redness of the face, other limbs, acne that enlarges, liquefies and flows", said Ulqinaku.

Ulqinaku cast doubt on cases of acute but still unconfirmed hepatitis.

"We have had suspicious cases, maybe every week with acute hepatitis. We hope he did not come to us ", added Ulqinaku.
