From November there are no more stamps in the passport, this is how Albanians

From November, all Albanians traveling to European Union countries will no longer be provided with stamps in their passports due to a new law that will come into effect this year.

Citizens of our country who want to travel to EU countries must apply for a travel permit on the ETIAS site, otherwise known as the European Travel Information and Authorization System). This system will be valid for 60 countries that are not in the EU.

ETIAS is a fully electronic system that allows and keeps track of visitors.

Every Albanian will be subject to a detailed ETIAS check. ETIAS will ensure that these people do not pose a security threat. This travel authorization system will collect, monitor and update the necessary information about visitors to determine whether it is safe for them to enter the Schengen countries.

In addition to being used for business and tourism purposes, this system will allow people to visit Schengen countries for medical and transit purposes. The person who receives "ok" from ETIAS has it valid for 3 years.

ETIAS costs €7 for each application. This only applies to adults over 18, as those under 18 will not have to pay any fees.
