The chief of police station No. 1 in Tirana and his three subordinates are

Four employees of the State Police are suspended by order of the General Director Muhamet Rrumbullaku.

The Chief of Police Station No. 1, Bujar Mehmeti, and his three subordinates have been suspended from duty as they are accused of serious violations related to the illegal constructions found in the territory under the jurisdiction of this police station.

The General Director of the State Police has signed the 30-day suspension orders, issued by the Directorate of Standards in the State Police, after the Police Oversight Agency (AMP) has started the disciplinary investigation for serious violations for some police officers of the Commissariat of Police No. 1, of the Tirana Local Police Directorate and has requested suspension from duty, for:

- Chief Commissioner BM, acting as Head of Police Station No. 1, Tirana;

- FS Deputy Commissioner, with the duties of Chief and Specialist of the Farkë Police Station, in Police Station No. 1, Tirana;

- AR Deputy Commissioner, with the duty of Head of the Section for Crimes, in Police Station No. 5, Kamze, Tirana (who previously performed the duties of Crime Investigation Specialist in Police Station No. 1);

- Inspector NK, with the duty of Assistant/SPZ specialist of Farkë Police Station, in Police Station No. 1, Tirana.

Their suspension was made after the investigations carried out by the Police Supervision Agency, in relation to the illegal constructions found in the territory under the jurisdiction of Police Station No. 1.
