Shkodra Police have solved the incident that occurred in the village of Gruemirë in Malësia e Madhe, where two people opened fire, firing about 100 bullets.

The police have identified and are searching for the two perpetrators, EV, 22 years old, and R. Z(P)., 27 years old, who initially shot at the Kurtaj family's security cameras. After they returned, the three members of the Kurtaj family tried to stop them to ask why they shot at the security cameras, but the two young men continued on their way.

During the pursuit by three members of the Kurtaj family, which lasted 10 minutes, they were shot with a Kalashnikov assault rifle with about 100 bullets.

It is suspected that the two young men had gone to steal, but after they were detected, the incident took a different turn.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Malësi e Madhe Police Station, following the incident that occurred in the village of Gruemirë, based on information provided by police intelligence and as a result of quick actions, made it possible to solve the incident, identify and declare them wanted.

Citizens EV, 22 years old, resident of the village of Hot i Ri and R. Z(P)., 27 years old, resident of the village of Shtoj i Vjetër, were declared wanted;

From the preliminary actions, it results that the two above-mentioned citizens are suspected of having gone to steal in the village of Gruemirë but were intercepted by three citizens, residents of the village, with whom these two citizens argued and then, while leaving, fired firearms into the air.

"Intensive work continues to locate and capture them," the police announced.

The materials were passed to the Prosecution Office for the criminal offenses of "Threat" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."
