The Special Prosecution Office has requested the postponement of the investigation into former Socialist MP Jurgis Çyrbja. The reason is the pending receipt of several letters of inquiry sent to partner agencies abroad.
The request for an extension of time was made at this Tuesday's session, as Çyrbja's lawyers asked for time to review the Prosecution's request.
The next session was set for Friday, April 18th.
Jurgis Çyrbja has been in pre-trial detention since the fall of last year, after he was discovered in intercepted communications on the encrypted chat platform SKY EÇ with the Shijak-Durres criminal groups and especially with Altin Hajri's group.
