Berisha: We will do everything to restore food security, fight with zero tolerance against corruption

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, guaranteed Albanians that they will do their best for food security.

Berisha emphasized that the DP program aims to transform agriculture and livestock, including the food security of Albanians, which is facing risks.

Among other things, the leading democrat emphasized that the DP will wage a zero-tolerance war against corruption.

Berisha: There will be appropriate, controlled conditions at all points of entry to customs in Albania, which are necessary and which today almost formally exist or do not exist.

International cooperation is very necessary, twinning with prestigious agencies.

There is a problem, this institution as we have established it, does not have an ancient tradition like other countries that have 50 or 80 years. It is necessary that we also cooperate here with analogous institutions in Germany, Croatia, and these countries that surround us to make it as performing and serious as possible.

As we have announced, we have a transformational program for agriculture and livestock, but this program requires transformation with food security at all costs, both for the domestic market and for export.

There is no worse news for the market than the return of our exports.

The return of exports is a blow to confidence in Albanian products, which are very good.

As happened with tourists, no matter what the numbers say, but until the end of August, Albania's beaches never had even a third of their number because of the high prices.
