Milk contaminated with aflatoxin, Resuli: Why is the ministry hiding this

The President of the Order of Veterinary Doctors, Ervin Resuli, commented on the alarming situation with food safety in the country.

Invited to Syri TV, Resuli focused on the latest scandal of milk contaminated with aflatoxin.

Resuli explained that in high doses this substance causes immediate poisoning, leading to liver damage and the risk of developing cancer.

He raised the alarm that the Ministry of Agriculture is covering up this scandal, even though there have been positive laboratory results since mid-March.

"Regarding the effects of aflatoxin, in high doses we have immediate intoxications, as was the case that the journalist referred to, that is, immediate poisoning, and then in longer-term effects we have liver damage or liver cancer and so on."

In other words, it is actually one of the classified mycotoxins, which directly influences carcinogenic effects, which is why it has been classified as so dangerous and attempts have been made to keep it within a technical line, norm.

Why is the Ministry of Agriculture hiding the contaminated milk scandal? Who is the Ministry of Agriculture serving, which to this day, even though the laboratory response has been coming in with positive cases of these samples since mid-March, has been hiding until now in April.

Unfortunately, if we look every day, both in our neighborhoods and in our cities, the businesses that are thriving the most are mainly analysis laboratories and medical clinics. Which means that, whether we like it or not, Albania is turning into a large hospital, perhaps even a private one, in which there is incalculable damage. We are talking about damage to life, we have damage in the economic aspect, then we have people who are unable to go to work, then you are poor and so on.

"So in other words, they are doing damage to all characters in terms of the population as a whole, to avoid reaching a term that is perhaps a little more serious, a kind of silent genocide, by 'cleansing' or reducing either the fertility, the population growth, or the vitality of this nation," Resuli said.
