31-year-old man wanted internationally by Kosovo for cocaine trafficking

The Operational Forces of the State Police have arrested a citizen internationally wanted by the Kosovo authorities for criminal activity in the field of narcotics.

Denis Dine, 31 years old, a resident of Kukës, was arrested in the city where he lived. According to the official announcement of the State Police, an arrest warrant was issued against him by the Court of Pristina on April 14, 2025, which had assigned him the security measure of "prison arrest" for the criminal offense of "Violation of the law on narcotics (cocaine)", according to the Criminal Code of Kosovo.

According to the investigation, Denis Dine is accused of transporting about 1.1 kilograms of cocaine from Albania to Kosovo, through his vehicle. The drugs were handed over to another citizen, with the initials AF, in Pristina. The latter was caught during a joint operation between the Kosovo and Albanian Police, while he had tried to leave, throwing the narcotic substance out of the car window.

The materials have been referred to the relevant authorities for the continuation of legal procedures within the framework of international cooperation for his extradition.
