The Fier Prosecutor's Office has sent to trial the citizen who voted twice in the March 6 local by-elections in the Lushnje Municipality.

Citizen H. Gj. voted the first time as a commissioner and the second time as a resident.

"From the process of cross-referencing the data of the electronic voter identification device (PEI), located in every Voting Center of the Republic of Albania, it has resulted that the defendant H.GJ voted the first time as a VCC commissioner in VC 2818, ZAZ 54, Dushk, based on Article 58 of the Electoral Code, and the second time in VC 2817, ZAZ 54, Dushk, as a resident," the announcement states.
