The Chairperson of the Appeals Committee in the Democratic Party, Adriana Kalaja, has today submitted a new criminal report to SPAK, regarding an abusive scheme that was applied in zone no. 15 of Tirana.

This scheme includes local leaders Gentjan Myrto, Besmir Kola and Xhavit Çeka, as well as the area's MP, Toni Gogu.

Kalaja accuses these officials of abuse of office, corruption, money laundering and involvement in a structured criminal group.

" Today I have come to denounce another 5D scheme, but in this specific case this scheme was applied in zone number 15 of Tirana, which includes the administrative units of Ndroq, Pezë and Vaqarr, where the current leaders of these zones, Gentjan Myrto, Besmir Kola and Xhavit Çeka, in collaboration with the MP of the zone Toni Gogu, have consumed all the elements of the criminal offenses that we are reporting today, from abuse of office, passive corruption of high-ranking officials, exercising illegal influence, laundering the proceeds of criminal offenses and up to a structured criminal group.

Acts related to abuses of the aforementioned persons but also of a person who does not hold any public office and is called Arjan Popli, against whom we actually have many reactions, denunciations from residents of the areas for his influence in buying votes, for his influence in giving offers or favors to residents of the area in exchange for votes.
Favors that are related not only to personal problems that residents of the area have but also especially to the issue of the reconstruction part from the earthquake.
There are many residents of the area who have benefited from apartments from the reconstruction but even today these apartments are not only not handed over but are pressured in various ways in order for them to vote for the Socialist Party.

A very important problem related to the reports we have is the alienation of property. There are staggering abuses of property in all three of these units, in Vaqarr, Ndroq and Peza.

Various residents are approached and offered 20% of the value in order for these bandits to provide them with ownership certificates.

On the other hand, we have also identified several investments by these leaders of these units that do not have legal sources and for this reason we have requested SPAK not only to investigate the legal source of these investments but also to investigate their assets, starting with MP Toni Gogu and all 3 aforementioned persons.

And the last one has to do with the construction of the Menik village road, a road that has been underway for a long time and no serious investment has been made.

This road has very big problems because in the part where the vast majority of residents live, the road does not go, while in 3 families who are patronizing socialists, the road has reached the door of the house.

"We are talking about a gravel road here because it is not finished, it is an investment of 80 million new lek and for which we have requested an investigation of this affair from SPAK ," said Kalaja.
