Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, participated in a meeting where the focus was on food security in the country.

In his statement, Muçollari raised the alarm about a serious situation that, according to him, is threatening Albanian families due to the government's failures in this sector.

He warned that after May 11, the DP will launch a new process to guarantee food security and support for farmers.

 "Food insecurity, the most frightening insecurity that is wreaking havoc on our families. To illustrate the irresponsibility of a government that has not done anything, we will present denunciations, reports from EU institutions, reports from experts.

The government has treated the AKU as a war booty that was sometimes given to allies, sometimes to bandits. This institution has a bunch of fine-collectors who have failed it, the lack of attention of the government has not only endangered our lives, but also the products of farmers who are returning from the EU. There is nothing sadder than not offering assistance to a farmer to create "Made in Albania" products. An installation to calm the nerves of the prime minister has cost 5 million euros. 0 funds for the laboratory, 0 funds to increase food security. We are in conditions of a national emergency. The DP is committed to turning the issue of food security into an issue of national security.

We will re-establish the NFA as a national security institution. The change starts with the name, calling it the National Food Security Agency (AKSU).

"We will guarantee farmers that their products are valued and sold in the EU and not returned," said Muçollari.
