The DP's political delegate for the Berat region, Eno Bozdo, has made strong accusations against the mayor of Skrapar, Adriatik Mema.

After meetings with the residents of Skrapar, Eno Bozdo has accused Mayor Adriatik Mema of being a thief, stating that he is enriching himself with illegal quarries and deforestation.

According to Bozdo, Mema is terrorizing the residents of Skrapar by threatening them with the camp, economic aid, and jobs.

"The Adriatic represents the true face of the Renaissance. What the Renaissance has done for all Albanians, this little Renaissance man is doing for the scrapyards here. You cannot get rich in the Adriatic, whether with the illegal quarries that you have up and down with your relatives or with the cutting down of forests with the village elders that you have put in your service. You get rich and the people here become poorer, you can no longer hold power by force. On May 11, the scrapyards and all of Albania will expel you with a free vote ," said Bozdo.
