Murder of Gjovalin Prendit, Lala: Son was involved in several mafia assassinations with many victims

Journalist Klodiana Lala revealed details about the leads she is investigating regarding the murder of Gjovalin Prendit, Roan Brahimi's father.

Invited to MCN, she said that one of the leads is related to the clash with Ervis Martinaj's criminal group, after the assassination in Fushë-Krujë where Brilant Martinaj was killed, so since then Roan's family had received threats to exterminate the entire tribe.

Another lead that the investigation is focusing on is the conflict with the Tepelena group led by Arlenato Muska, known as "Little Reno". This conflict, according to her, is suspected to be related to drug trafficking, and the police are verifying it as one of the main leads in the incident.

" Gjovalin Prendi, 64 years old, was killed in front of his business in the Pllanë area of ​​Lezha. It is certainly a blood feud because his only son, Roan Brahimi, because his name has been changed, his birth name is Sidorel Prendi and he changed it to Roan Brahimi - was involved in many mafia assassinations with many victims.

Regarding the mechanism of the incident, preliminary analysis of security cameras, but also according to witnesses at the scene, shows that the vehicle used by the perpetrators, which is a stolen vehicle, came from the Milot area and approached the family business.

There, Roan Brahimi's father, Gjovalin Prendi, was drinking coffee in the presence of another person.

Two masked men with Kalashnikovs came out, and only one of them shot at Gjovalin Prendit, killing him, and then the vehicle followed the same route of escape, towards Milot, and was found almost completely burned the day after the incident in Fushë Gjormë.

Roan Brahimi was first exposed by the state police in the assassination attempt that occurred at the Fushë-Krujë overpass, where the victims were Brilant Martinaj, Ervis Martinaj's first cousin, and his two friends, Besmir Hoxha and Dikler Vatha.

At that time, one of the people suspected of participating in this assassination was Roan Brahimi and from that moment on, the police had information that the opposing group, Martinaj's group, had sworn to destroy and eliminate the entire family and if you look at 2024, two years later, Roan Brahimi was executed in a mafia assassination in Athens in front of his second wife.

Regarding the saga of clashes, Roan Brahimi is also suspected of other serious events, such as the assassination attempt on Ardian Gjeloshi with one injured and one killed, so the company's economist Ardian Gjeloshi was killed, while Gjeloshi was injured. He is suspected of the assassination attempt on Ylli Ibrahimi or Brahja, who was also a cousin of his first wife because he considered him a person who had betrayed him to Martinaj and in that event was mistakenly killed.

He was also suspected, along with his brother-in-law, of the murder of Gentian Betja in Larush, Fushë-Krujë. There were other incidents in the meantime, but these are the most serious.

Meanwhile, the family, the parent, must say that from time to time he has also received messages, if I may say so, threatening messages since the assassination attempt at the Fushë-Krujë overpass, that this family was being targeted and that things would certainly go to the point where everything would be wiped out.

The police have requested identification of the vehicle's chassis and have sent it abroad due to the Easter break, but have not yet received an answer as to where this car was stolen.

Whether it came from abroad or was stolen in Albania, despite the allusions that have been made today regarding this aspect.

The main leads that the police are investigating are: Ervis Martinaj who is directly suspected, so it was the family, if I may say so, the Martinaj criminal group.

Ylli Brahja, Ardian Gjeloshi and Gentian Bejtja, these were clashes that he had open and who had been questioned or wanted by the police in connection with these events.

Meanwhile, there have been checks, in addition to these families that I mentioned, there have also been checks in the homes of the Reçi tribe in Mirdita.

Because according to the data, Roan Brahimi was in conflict with this group in the Mirdita area as long as the sons of the Reçi family were in an alliance with the son of Ardian Gjeloshi, whom according to the police, Roan Brahimi attempted to eliminate.
