"To cook or to rest?", inclusive packages sent 20% more Albanians abroad

Comprehensive packages, new destinations, often competitive offers with Albanian destinations, but above all vacations without the effort to cook and serve the family, are these reasons that are leading Albanians to travel more abroad. Only in the first half of the year, trips have increased by 20 percent.

"Everything is better abroad because Albanian mothers are tired and do not rest, but still work even on holidays."

"It's better outside, more organized, more interesting and for those of us with children."

Although a large part of Albanians choose the Albanian coast, high prices and unorganized tourism are changing old preferences. The temptation of tourist agencies offers for the summer season have influenced them to plan them in the first months of the year.

"10-15% more are preferring these packages this year. All vacations go to rest and not vacations to go around the house and cook by taking the all-inclusive packages, they have everything included. Families who want to relax are becoming more interested, but couples and individuals are less interested," said Ervis Kukeli, tourist operator.

The flow of Albanians vacationing abroad has increased the packages, which include accommodation, food, entertainment, but also day tours, up to 15%. But how much would one cost for an average family?

"For a family with two children, a weekly all-inclusive package starts from 1300-1500 euros. Exotic destinations remain at 1500-2000 euros per couple. I say that packages have increased by 10-15% compared to years."

"Where is it better to have the vacations all ready, but it depends on the family's budget."

But what were the favorite destinations of the Albanians who spent their vacations, but also for those who expect to spend them in the future.

"Antalya remains the favorite, Bodrumi, Greece. Good deals on Crete, Rhodes with direct flights, Corfu. These are the main ones, then for Spain, Italy we have exotic destinations such as the Maldives, Dubai, Thailand."
