Shutting down Tik Tok is not a measure, but a mask for the government's

Alfred Lela

Mr. Rama's proposal to shut down TikTok and Snap Chat, two platforms also used by students in the country's schools, seems, at first sight, like a reasonable idea—if we were in Denmark.

However, the Prime Minister has several facts against him, most of which are related only to him.

First, he governs more through social networks, mass media platforms, or mass communication than through the classical forms of policy-making, cabinet meetings, press conferences, meetings with people, etc.

So, he is the processor and promoter of a model, with the ease of a teenager, which he seeks to overthrow with the quality of a Prime Minister.

This prime minister's superficiality is only the thin, brazen surface and not the core of the problem, which, secondly and most importantly, is a crisis of model, man, and power.

As one of the four prominent politicians of the post-communist transition, Edi Rama has been the most powerful driver of an anti-model in society. He has prioritized appearance over substance, activity over work, success over achievement, political triumph over public authority. Having for over 20 years the luxury of a propaganda machine, pushed by the leading media in the country, he has designed this model, where political greed is combined with state brutality, as a governing offer with the only essence: it is forbidden to stop (phrase of the French anarchist-leftist movement of '68).

Attention: the 'freedom' of this slogan only on the surface takes into account others, the people; it is designed for Rama himself and those around him. The only freedom the people could enjoy in Rama's time was that of debauchery: growing drugs and selling drugs - thus, the freedom to get rich quickly through the anti-model. The second freedom, that of the movement, or rather the abandonment of Albania, loosely translated as "If you don't succeed with drugs and in the administration, snap your neck!"

Thirdly, Rama, by allowing fictitious freedom, effectively banned the political opponent or any form of opposition in the country despite his and the government's message, image, and political activity.

It is now classic knowledge that Rama used the non-political element in the political plane (even in the elections) without interruption from January 21, 2011, onwards, culminating with their introduction to the Albanian Parliament as 'people's' deputies.

Then, he strengthened an electoral-political machine that suppressed every rule and law in favor of victory in the elections. Two state institutions, schools, and the police were the victims of this approach.

By creating, in the educational system, the internal model of the promotion of teachers and principals who perform well in the role of the electoral operator and beyond the model of the strong in the city, Assembly, and society, Rama did not allow any exit to alternative models. His model was the only one because it was the best. Every other model became an anti-model. Edi Rama created the hero by behaving as an anti-hero and declared all others anti-heroes. This is where the slogan "Sali is to blame" has roots, which was invented as the only alternative to Rama and the Socialist Party.

In this line of thought, behavior or model, the Prime Minister simplified the public debate filled with the mourning of three murders in five days, the most painful, that of a school child, with the phrase "Tik Tok is to blame".

No responsibility for school safety, creating unethical patterns, government promises, community policing, etc.

Considering the political synopsis above, we have no reason to expect different behavior from the Prime Minister.

He did not create the pattern, but it is its embodiment.

As in Anjshtanji's expression, you cannot expect different results from the same method, and you cannot expect changed behavior from the same person/model either.

This is the Prime Minister that some of you say you elected/voted for, and others that he is there because of electoral theft/manipulation.

Martin Cani, 14 years old, the student of "Fan Noli," a child of his parents and Albania, a friend of his neighbors, and a victim of the social model - not only of the knife -was not killed in this debate that we have been doing for a long time in writing orally.

But his death is inextricably linked to this social wound.

He, to whom he is not given but takes nevertheless, is not bound to answer to anyone.

Closing Tik Tok is not a measure, it is a mask to hide the bloody body of Martin Can and the evil face of Rama and his ministers who cheered when a minute of silence was requested in the Assembly for the 14-year-old.
