Why Rama went 'armed' to London

Why Rama went 'armed' to London

Alfred Lela

Opponents found Edi Rama in London as well. Although Rama considered the event of November 24 as a 'political assassination' against Albania, as he usually does, he knows that the protest in the English capital is something else.

He knows this, if only for the fact that he had with him the body of over 200 people, enough to take a Ryan Air plane, which his cabinet had booked for the return trip to Tirana - and which departed 1.5 hours late because of Rama and the thorn.

He knows this because it has taken his aides several months to equip the entire bar with British visas, and this has been one of the reasons why the London rally has been postponed several times.

He knows this because he took with him the mayors of all the northern cities that SP has, ignoring the fact that it is he himself, and those local leaders, who have forced a good part of them to leave.

He knows this well, because he was surrounded by the strong of these areas who, in one way or another, have benefited from the power of these mayors and his in public contracts or other forms.

He knows this very well because the 'guests' at his rally were people who had to book tickets as if it were a sporting or artistic event. All this was done with the aim of controlling the participants to avoid the opponents.

He knows this well because some of the 'ticket takers' testify to being paid up to £350 in cash to attend the rally.

He knows this well because when the protestors unfurled their placards and chanted against him, only a small group (his and Taulanti's bodyguards and some strongmen taken with them, engaged in beating the compatriots).

He knows very well that Sali Berisha was not the organizer of the protest, not that he could not, but that he knows that it does not take organization and order to oppose Rama, especially in the British diaspora, which is the embodiment of the emigration of the last decade , and the persecution that the government has done to the democrats or citizens not involved in the Renaissance.

As always, Sali used Berisha as a shield for all his failures, from bad governance to the rally in London, which neither started nor ended properly, but he washed it with his own shame and the blood of his compatriots who, from the homeland drives them away and in the adopted country it irritates and provokes them.

In the ranks of Edi Rama's circus, no one has been harmed, and he can feel victorious, but the fact is that he has become a ridiculous leader, who needs to get bodyguards, strong and the local police, to protect himself in and foreigners from their own citizens.

If in anger with this he uses violence by hitting Ilir Meshi and some other brave men who entered his cave of fear, so much the worse for him. Violence is always the last instrument of political persuasion, the tool that proves that all else has failed. That they don't love you or respect you.

The moment that expresses the political end.
