Raped his girlfriend, the well-known actor Darris Love is arrested

Actor Darris Love was recently arrested after allegedly hitting his girlfriend during an argument on Christmas Eve. The 42-year-old is best known for his role as Ray Alvarado on the 90s-era Nickelodeon TV series The Secret World of Alex Mack. Love was released from jail in exchange for $20,000.

Love was arrested by the LAPD on suspicion of domestic violence after police were called to his home in Los Angeles. Officials met with the actor's girlfriend who told them her partner hit her in the back of the head during an argument. She claimed the fight started after she stopped at Love's house to pick up some items. Not long after being released from prison, Love took to Instagram with a video about the holiday season.

His arrest did not seem to bother the actor who greeted his friends with smiles and laughter. Darris is best known for his role in The Secret World of Alex Mack and went on to have small roles in other television series such as Sister, Sister, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
