Dukagjin Lipa tells why Dua was absent from the "Sunny Hill Festival"

"Sunny Hill Festival" both in Pristina and Tirana, brought many Albanian artists with international fame. But what the public in Albania missed, was Dua Lipa.

The father of the Albanian singer, Dukagjin Lipa, also the organizer of the "Sunny Hill Festival", told TV Klan why Dua was absent in Tirana. Dukagjini said that due to the limited dates Dua was unable to be present both in Tirana and Prishtina.

Lipa says that "Sunny Hill" will come back to Tirana and as soon as possible.

"The idea at the beginning was maybe for this to happen. That is, since 2016 when we started with the festival in Pristina, if you remember there was one in Pristina, there was one in Tirana. But it was logistically impossible at that time to do that work, while now it's a different situation, we have another opportunity, so it's a pleasure to do two festivals in the two Albanian capitals. Action Bronson was one of the acts that I wanted him to come to Tirana, I had Action Bronson as a guest in 2018 in Pristina and it was a great pleasure for him, first of all to visit own country because his father is from Kosovo, his mother is American, but we as Albanians feel at home in Tirana and everywhere in Albania, so I was happy that the first time in Tirana was Action Bronson as a representative of hip hop. I wish she was in Pristina, it was probably, I don't want to say wrong information, but she couldn't be here, the dates were limited, she couldn't be in two places. Tirana is here, it is not going anywhere, we will do it again. We hope to see it soon"- said Dukagjin Lipa.
