Won the presidential elections in Turkey, Erdogan reacts for the first time: Goodbye Kemal

Won the presidential elections in Turkey, Erdogan reacts for the first time:

Recep Tayyip Erdogan was re-elected President of Turkey, after he managed to win with about 51.4% of the votes in the second round of the presidential elections. After this triumph, Erdogan kept his word, where he thanked the citizens who went to the polls and expressed their will.

During his speech, he especially thanked the people of Istanbul and added that today Turkey is experiencing a celebration of democracy. Erdogan could not leave Kemal Kilicdaroglu without ironizing him, saying in front of the crowd: "Bye, bye, bye Kemal".

"We are in love with Istanbul", said Erdogan first. "It's different here today. All of Istanbul is different. I greet you and congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. We experienced a celebration of democracy. You went to the polls and with your children's future in mind you expressed your will. Thank you all", said Erdogan.
