Inter officially presents new coach, Cristian Chivu

Inter have officially announced their new coach, Cristian Chivu, a week after the departure of Simone Inzaghi.

The 44-year-old returns to Inter after a four-month spell in Serie A with Parma, on an initial two-year contract, which will run until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Chivu spent the latter part of his playing career at San Siro with Inter and also began his coaching career in the city of Milan, where he managed the club's U14, U17, U18 and Primavera teams between 2018 and 2024.

He then left to take charge of Parma in February 2025, but has now returned to take charge of Inter's first team.

Chivu's arrival comes six days after Inzaghi's departure.

The former Nerazzurri coach has taken charge of Saudi team Al-Hilal in the Saudi Arabian Professional League.
