Fatos Cenaj's injury, Italian investigators suspect he was shot by a hired killer

Italian media have shed light on the injury of 59-year-old Albanian Fatos Cenaj in Italy a few days ago, who is currently battling death.
Police have raised suspicions that the former police officer's injury may have been an ambush by a hitman.
Under these conditions, Italian media write that the possibility of an involuntary shot from a rifle by a resident of the area with the aim of testing a new weapon has been ruled out.
What is hypothesized is that Fatos Cenaj during his career has troubled some high-profile criminal, who, years later, organized someone to take revenge on him. His condition is still critical.
