Rikthehen në qarkullim disa nga trenat e shpejtë në Francë

Seven of France's ten fast trains will run on Saturday on three main lines, one after saboteurs paralysed much of the train network on the day the Olympics began in Paris.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the coordinated overnight arson attacks on cable boxes at strategic intersections in the north, southwest and east of Paris, where the opening ceremony of the Olympics was held on Friday.

Railroad workers thwarted attempts to destroy safety equipment on another line, which the SNCF rail company called a "massive attack."

"Seven out of ten trains are running on a delay of one or two hours," the SNCF said in a statement.

The company said workers worked in "difficult conditions in the rain to improve the lines of fast trains that were affected by acts of sabotage"

"At this stage, traffic will have congestion on Sunday on the North Axis and there will be improvements to the Atlantic axis over the weekend," the company said, adding that passengers would be notified via telephone messages and emails to trains running.

The SNCF estimates that at least 250,000 passengers were affected on Friday as a result of the arson.
The coordinated attacks took place at 4:00 a.m. on Friday.
