Record prices, the minister defends the Board: If we did not have it, oil would

The price of oil in Albania remains high and often does not reflect the value of international stock exchanges. Opposition representatives have leveled accusations against the Transparency Board, which has often been criticized by experts in the field.

In today's plenary session, the Minister of Economy, Delina Ibrahimii came out in defense, saying that if it were not for the Board, the fuels would be sold at much higher prices than they currently are.

"You say that we have created some fascist boards that have had a negative impact. Boards have made it possible for the gross profit margin to be from 5-6% which in previous years has been up to 15%. "If the boards had not been set up, we would have had higher fuel prices than we have today" , declared Ibrahimaj.
