Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about his acquaintance with George Sorros and the relationship they have. He told "Opinion" that he met him in the 90's when he was still not part of politics.

Rama has described Sorros as an extraordinary character, while he said that he has a fantastic relationship with him.

Rama: I knew Sorros in the '90s.

Fevziu: When you were not in politics.

Rama: I was not at all. I was put on the board of his foundation and we went to Ismail Kadareja, Aleko Minga, Brikena Çabej if I am not mistaken. And we went to Budapest. I met him there.

Fevziu : What relations do you have with him?

Rama: I have a fantastic relationship with him. I have always had a fantastic relationship. It has nothing to do with conspiracies. He is an extraordinary character, he turned the world upside down with that blow he dealt to the stock exchanges. The moment he became rich, he put his wealth at the service of his idea and is a man who has invested endlessly to help open society.
