British Lord Supports DP in Elections: It's Time for Change in Albania

Daniel Hannan, a member of the House of Lords in the British Parliament, has declared his support for the Democratic Party and the opposition in these elections.

His message is clear: “There must be zero tolerance for connections between politicians and organized crime groups.”

The video was also published by the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha.

"The world is watching us. Time to rise up and cleanse politics of crime. VOTE 1 – DP and ASHM! " Berisha writes.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Albania on several occasions, and this country has always left me impressed with its miraculous history of recovery from communist tyranny.

Few countries have suffered from a more brutal dictatorship than this, and few have recovered so impressively.

But for this miracle to continue, a change is now necessary.

There should be zero tolerance for connections between politicians and organized crime groups.

Property rights and free contracts, free markets and human rights should be emphasized.

And this will only happen if there is a real political change.

Therefore, for this reason, I support the Democratic Party and the coalition.

It is time for change in Albania.
