"On the top with the word"/ Alfred Lela recounts his life between

Invited to the show "Elevate by Floriana Garo", the director of the Press Office of the Democratic Party, Alfred Lela, shared with the public his personal and professional story, from emigrating to the United States of America, returning to Albania, journalism, involvement in politics and passion for words, heights and nature.

Lela showed that his strength lies in language, especially in writing. " I have the impression that my strength is the word. In English, I did not feel at the top, even though I master it. My top is through the language expressed in Albanian," he said, emphasizing that he is not satisfied with average: "Whoever says he will not be at the top is lying to himself or others ."

For him, returning from America to Albania was more challenging than emigrating itself: “ In the US you get used to the order, while when you come back here, you face the 'disorder' again .”

In a candid moment, he confessed that his connection to politics came naturally through the figure of Sali Berisha: " When he first came to power, I was a high school student and I felt a kind of exaltation. For me, Berisha is the leader of my imaginary tribe."

Lela also described the fast-paced pace of life in politics, especially during the campaign: " I'm in the office before 9 am and I leave after 11 pm. The daily message, doctor's consultations, phone calls, media monitoring is a job without a schedule. "

He also spoke about his passion for mountaineering: " Climbing gives me an intensity and focus that I don't find in the city. I used to do it twice a month, but now it's rarer due to commitments. "
